The top flashings are not normally required in the UK as the tiles can overlap the top of the GSE frames. The top flashing is a useful option if positioning restrictions or the nature of your roof tiles mean that they do not overlap the top of the GSE frames far enough. The GSE 1650 x 1135mm Half Portrait Frame facilitates the installation of solar PV modules as part of an integrated in-roof system. GSE introduced the half frame design in 2022 to keep-up with the ever-expanding PV module market. The nature of the design caters for larger, wider and more powerful modules which are becoming more commonplace with solar PV manufacturers.
The GSE In-Roof System enables module installation on every type of roof covering (curved tiles, interlocking, flat tiles, slates, metal, zinc, trapezoidal), as well as on new buildings. The system must be installed on the wooden or metallic substructure of the buildings and mounted on specific battens, adapted to climatic conditions. It can be mounted on slopes between 12° and 50°.
This system goes together quickly and easily. The plastic trays that interlock are fixed to battens, with the roof tiles fitting up to the flashing. The panels are then hooked onto the trays and clamped into place.

Harvi is a clever little device that enables the Zappi and Eddi products to be installed without using a directly wired current transformer (CT) for measuring the grid and or generation power; instead the CT is connected to Harvi.
No power source is needed for Harvi - the energy from the CT is harvested and used to transmit the measurement signal to the Zappi or Eddi. This means batteries or electrical wiring are eliminated!
Up to three devices can be monitored by the Harvi. You will need to buy a Zappi, Eddi or separate CT clamp for the Harvi to work. Not G100 compliant for Grid Monitoring, you'll need to hard wire if you require G100 compliance.
When installing, consider the positioning of the unit and avoid metal obstacles and range will be reduced by obstructions.
