The GSE 1650 x 1135mm Half Portrait Frame facilitates the installation of solar PV modules as part of an integrated in-roof system. GSE introduced the half frame design in 2022 to keep-up with the ever-expanding PV module market. The nature of the design caters for larger, wider and more powerful modules which are becoming more commonplace with solar PV manufacturers.
The GSE In-Roof System enables module installation on every type of roof covering (curved tiles, interlocking, flat tiles, slates, metal, zinc, trapezoidal), as well as on new buildings. The system must be installed on the wooden or metallic substructure of the buildings and mounted on specific battens, adapted to climatic conditions. It can be mounted on slopes between 12° and 50°.
This system goes together quickly and easily. The plastic trays that interlock are fixed to battens, with the roof tiles fitting up to the flashing. The panels are then hooked onto the trays and clamped into place.
