This AC-coupled storage system has a total usable energy capacity of 5.0 kWh. It features six embedded grid-forming microinverters and a continuous output power rating of 3.2 kVA.
The IQ Battery 5P is designed to be wall-mounted. A wall-mount bracket is included inside the box. It can also be floor-mounted using the IQ Battery 5P Pedestal Mount. One pedestal is needed per battery.

Installation Requirements:
- Please note that this battery must be installed in a location with existing solar generation, this is because the battery must be able to read solar generation through the device’s CT in order to be commissioned.
- For your first install of an Enphase IQ Battery you will need to complete a certification and send a design review to Enphase. All information about these two steps can be found here.
