The Mixergy heat pump interface allows the Mixergy controller to request heat from the heat pump to charge itself up. This is done by connecting the heat pump tank sensor to the switch which then simulates.
Minimum and maximum charge times for the heat pump can be set on the Mixergy controller to ensure the heat pump is used to it’s greatest effect. More information on the resistor switch and heat pump integration can be found in the Mixergy documentation.
